講座人介紹：

林宙辰教授是北京大學機器感知與智能教育部重點實驗室教授、信息科學技術學院教授、東北師范大學"東師學者"講座教授，曾任微軟亞洲研究院視覺計算組主管研究員，中國科學院計算技術研究所客座研究員等。擔任著名期刊IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence，International J. Computer Vision等編委，主持著名國際會議CVPR 2014/2016/2019/2020、ICCV 2015、NIPS 2015/2018/2019、AAAI 2019/2020、IJCAI 2020領域主席（Area Chair）等，他是國際模式識別學會和IEEE學會的會士（IAPR Fellow，IEEE Fellow）。他的主要研究方向是包括機器學習、模式識別、計算機視覺、圖像處理和數值計算與優化。

講座內容：

Deep learning is reaching its peak and bottleneck. What is next to deep learning? Many researchers are keen on this question. This talk may give you a partial answer. I will introduce the basic idea and concepts of differential programming, which is to optimize all the parameters in a large system jointly.
